Quick! What fashion trends are the most flattering for women over 50? Off the top of my head, I would say: scarves, longer hemlines and 3/4 sleeves. I've enjoyed wearing long skirts this summer and can't wait to start wrapping up in scarves again this fall. But what's got me really excited are the fall suit jackets with 3/4 sleeves. I've worn suits all my professional life, but I've always felt they were a little stuffy, a little too masculine for my taste. And now, post 50, the last thing I want is to wear anything that feels stuffy or masculine! I'm loving the suit jackets with 3/4 sleeves because they're professional, but also feminine.
