“Why won’t fashion designers create clothing for us!”
Perhaps, you’ve said this or heard other women over 50 say it. If so, I know the feeling. Not long ago, I was frustrated with the things in my closet. My clothes either had sleeves that showed parts of my arms I wanted to keep hidden or they weren’t long enough to cover my tummy. There was nothing in my closet that made me feel good about my body. No one seemed to be designing fashions with me in mind.
After sharing my frustration with friends and finding out they had similar issues, I decided to take matters into my own hands and start designing. My background is in business, so designing was definitely a midlife reinvention!
QUALITY TOPS MADE IN THE USA
I wanted to create stylish tops made of comfortable fabrics, in lovely colors, and of course, that provided perfect coverage. During the design process, I researched numerous fabrics and blends. Eventually, my search led me to MicroModal, a natural fabric made from the fiber of the European Beechwood. Breathable and luxuriously soft, MicroModal is a fabric that keeps you cool and comfortable. It feels amazing against your skin. While I work with other fabrics, I believe anyone who tries one of my MicroModal tops will understand why it’s my main fabric.

Another important consideration was where my tops would be manufactured. I wanted them to be made in the USA, and I’m proud to say they are. My line is cut, sewn and beautifully put together for you in sunny Los Angeles!
In May 2013, I launched Covered Perfectly, offering a dozen designs for every occasion, for every time of day and for every month of the year. I sell online directly to women to keep the garment’s luxury up and cost down.
As someone with a business background, I wanted to bring back great customer service at my new clothing company. That’s why I have created a user-friendly web site with FREE shipping (both ways) and fast delivery. It’s important to me that customers are satisfied with their shopping experience. At 57, I’m creating fashions I can be proud. My collection of fabulous tops are just right for women over 40 who, like me, want to be covered perfectly. Currently, my designs are available in sizes Small to X-Large. Plus sizes are in production and will be available in October 2013. I’m also working on three new top styles as well as a couple of dresses.
